I spent eleven years selling property in Delhi NCR. My father has been in the same business for thirty, and still advises me. So this industry isn't something I researched. It's something I grew up inside.
Every single week I watched the same thing happen.
A broker with a good property loses the deal to someone whose listing simply looked better. Not a better property. A better-looking listing.
And then, more often, something worse.
The death of lead leakage
Here is the quiet arithmetic every Indian property portal runs on.
One buyer fills one enquiry form. That enquiry is sold to four or five brokers, who then compete for a lead one of them earned. The buyer gets five calls in an hour and stops answering. The broker who sourced the property is now bidding against strangers for a customer he found.
The industry calls this distribution. Every broker I know calls it something else.
I don't blame the portals for it. It's their business model — the listing slot, then the enquiry, sold more than once. There is nothing dishonest about it. It's simply built for them, not for the person paying.
ReyAI ends it, and we can afford to because our revenue is the marketing kit, not the lead. Every listing carries its own page and its own enquiry form. That enquiry reaches one person. We never pass the number on, because we don't need to.
No portal can follow us here without dismantling itself.
The gap that was never about talent
A developer can absorb what marketing costs. Sixty thousand to three lakh rupees per property — a videographer, a designer, a web developer, three to six weeks of coordination.
A broker with eight active listings cannot. So one property gets the full treatment and seven get phone photos sent on WhatsApp.
Those seven are not worse properties. They just look worse. And on a phone screen, looking worse is the same as being worse.
That gap was never about talent. It was about budget.
Access was democratised. Articulation was not.
I could see what AI should be able to do here. What I kept running into was something nobody talks about.
Every generative tool assumes you can describe what you want — in English, structured the way a model expects. That is a skill. And for most people in this country, it is a skill in a second language.
Access to AI was democratised three years ago. Articulation was not. Every tool built since has quietly assumed otherwise.
So we removed the prompt entirely.
We wrote the prompt library in advance. An AI reads each photograph, works out whether it's an interior or an exterior, decides the camera movement, and instructs the generation model itself. One AI directs another. The broker uploads and receives.
No prompt to write. No English required. Nothing to learn.
What a broker actually gets
Upload the photos you already have. Phone photos are fine.
Ten minutes later: a cinematic reel, a print-ready luxury brochure, and a live listing page with its own enquiry form. In eleven Indian languages.
Share that link anywhere — WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, wherever you already post. Post a portal's link and the buyer lands on their site, next to your competitors. Post yours and the buyer lands on your page and enquires with you.
And the listing itself costs nothing extra. Not a discount — a different business model.
One engine, four industries
We built it for brokers. Then the same thing kept happening.
An architect already owns his renders. What he cannot afford is the animation — the camera path, the overnight render, the workstation. A still takes minutes; a sixty-second walkthrough takes a day and hardware most practices don't have. Which is why it's quoted as an extra, and usually declined.
He uploads the renders he already has and gets the walkthrough in ten minutes. The deliverable he used to charge extra for becomes the one he leads with.
A travel agent uploads hotel photographs and gets a package film and a printable itinerary. An interior designer turns a finished room into something a client forwards to her sister.
A listing, a project and a package turn out to be the same object wearing different words. Which is why one engine serves all of them.
Where we are
We launched in July. We're self-funded, we have paying customers, and I built it alone.
I am not a technical founder. I cannot write code.
I built it anyway, because nobody else was going to.
