Quick answer: there is no single best tool, and the useful split is between listing-specific tools that understand a property and general editors that give you a better canvas and more work. If your buyers read Hindi and your listings are measured in gaj, India-fit matters more than template count. If you want the most polished templates, Canva and InVideo are ahead. We build one of these eight and have said where it loses.
How to read this list
We make ReyAI, so treat our entry with the scepticism it deserves and check it against the others. What we have tried to do instead of a neutral pose is be specific about where we lose, because a comparison that only flatters its author is no use to a broker choosing between two subscriptions.
Four tests run through every entry, and they are the ones that separate a tool built for this market from one adapted to it: does it understand BHK as a unit; does it handle gaj, sq yd and bigha without converting them to something else; can it carry a RERA number; and does it format ₹1.4 Cr rather than $1,250,000. Add voiceover in an Indian language and you have the whole of India-fit.
Prices were fetched or checked on 21 September 2026. Dollar figures are converted at $1 = ₹96, the rate on 20 September 2026, and rounded. Four vendors could not be read directly — their pricing pages returned 403, 451 or no table — and those carry an explicit verify note. Pricing changes often; confirm before you subscribe.
The eight, at a glance
| Tool | Indicative price | Understands an Indian listing? |
|---|---|---|
| ReyAI | ₹1,999–₹3,799 per month | Yes — built for it. BHK, gaj/sq yd/bigha kept as typed, RERA on the listing page, rupee formatting, 11 Indian languages for voiceover. |
| Reel-E | $44 (about ₹4,220)–$449 (about ₹43,100) per month, annual billing | No. Built for the US listing market; no rupee pricing, no Indian-language voiceover mentioned. |
| AutoReel | About $19/month reported — verify | No. Photo-to-video for listings, US-oriented; no Indian fields. |
| Canva | ₹499 per month for Pro in India — verify | Partly. Bills in rupees and you can type anything, but nothing is a listing field — you format every number yourself. |
| InVideo | $9 (about ₹860)–$60 (about ₹5,760) per month, annual billing | No. Strong AI editor, no listing structure, USD only. |
| CapCut | About ₹399 per month in India — verify | No. A general editor with a strong free tier; everything about the listing is manual. |
| Animoto | Free tier; about $15–$29/month reported — verify | No. Template-driven slideshows, US-oriented. |
| Pictory | $25 (about ₹2,400)–$35 (about ₹3,360) per month, annual billing | No. Built around turning scripts and long video into clips, not around property. |
The eight, in detail
1. ReyAI — built for Indian listings, thinner on templates
Good at: producing the whole marketing set from one upload. You give it listing photographs and it returns a reel, a PDF brochure, a live listing page with an enquiry form, and a WhatsApp-ready kit. The Indian fields are native rather than typed into a text box — area stays in the unit you wrote it in, a RERA number has somewhere to live, and prices format as rupees.
Price: ₹1,999 a month for 3 reels on Starter, ₹3,799 for 7 on Pro, priced in rupees. The offer for a first reel is set out on pehla reel free.
Where it loses. Template variety is the honest weak spot: Canva has thousands of designs and we have a house style, so if you want a different look every week we are the wrong tool. Polish per individual template is also better on Canva and InVideo, which have had far longer and far more designers on the problem. And in the English listing market Reel-E is more mature — more formats out of the box, a longer track record with US agents.
Choose something else if your listings are in the US or UK, or if art-directing each video yourself is the part you enjoy.
2. Reel-E — the most mature listing-video product
Good at: listing videos for the English-speaking market, delivered in minutes and exported in every format an agent needs — MLS and YouTube, vertical for Reels and TikTok, feed sizes, with branded and unbranded versions of each. Unused listings roll over, which suits brokers with uneven months.
Price: Essential $44 (about ₹4,220) a month on annual billing for 3 listings, Growth $97 (about ₹9,310) for 10, Pro $449 (about ₹43,100) for 50; monthly billing is higher. Enterprise is custom.
India fit: none to speak of. The pricing page shows no rupee option, and there is no mention of Indian-language voiceover or Indian area units. Nothing stops an Indian broker using it; you will simply be writing every number in a format the tool does not know.
Choose it if you market to overseas buyers in English and want the most proven listing-video workflow.
3. AutoReel — photo-to-video with staging attached
Good at: turning listing photographs into cinematic videos, with virtual staging and AI photo editing bundled into the plans rather than sold separately. Reviews describe a free tier that lets you make a few videos before paying.
Price: a Starter plan around $19 a month is reported by third-party reviews, with per-photo credits beyond the included allowance. We could not confirm this — the pricing page returned no table to us on 21 September 2026 — so treat it as indicative and check the site.
India fit: not designed for it. No Indian listing fields, no rupee formatting, no Indian-language voiceover.
Choose it if virtual staging is the thing you actually need and the listing-page side does not matter to you.
4. Canva — the best canvas, and the most work
Good at: design, by a distance. An enormous template library, real control over type and layout, brand kits, and a learning curve most people are already past. For a broker who wants each post to look different, nothing else here competes.
Price: Canva Pro is reported at about ₹499 a month in India, with an annual option; there is a capable free plan. We could not read the pricing page directly — it returned 403 on 21 September 2026 — so verify the current figure.
India fit: partial, and worth being precise about. Canva bills in rupees, which most tools here do not, and you can of course type “3 BHK, 212 gaj, ₹1.4 Cr” into a text layer. But none of that is a field. Nothing validates it, nothing carries it to a brochure or a listing page, and you retype it for every asset.
Choose it if you have design instincts and time, and you want every listing to look bespoke.
5. InVideo — strong AI editor, no property knowledge
Good at: generating and editing video from a prompt, with a large stock library and genuinely good automatic editing. The polish per template is high.
Price: Basic $9 (about ₹860) a month, Pro $25 (about ₹2,400), Ultra $60 (about ₹5,760), all on annual billing, priced in USD with credits that do not roll over.
India fit: the company has Indian roots but the product is not a property tool — no listing fields, no rupee formatting, no RERA anywhere. You are writing the script and the numbers yourself.
Choose it if you make varied marketing content beyond listings and want one general-purpose AI editor for all of it.
6. CapCut — the best free tier here
Good at: being free and genuinely capable. Multi-track timeline, keyframes, speed ramping, chroma key, 1080p export and a large template library on the free plan. Watermarks apply to Pro-designated templates and effects rather than to everything.
Price: free tier; paid plans reported at about ₹399 a month in India, though figures vary widely across sources and the pricing page was not reachable to us on 21 September 2026. Verify before subscribing.
India fit: none structurally, but it is the tool a lot of Indian brokers already have on their phone, which counts for something.
Choose it if your budget is zero and your time is not.
7. Animoto — simple slideshows, long established
Good at: straightforward photo-and-music videos with very little to learn. It has been doing this for years and the templates are dependable rather than exciting.
Price: a free plan with watermarked exports, with paid tiers reported around $15 to $29 a month on annual billing. The pricing page returned 403 to us on 21 September 2026 — verify.
India fit: none. US-oriented throughout.
Choose it if you want the simplest possible photos-to-slideshow tool and nothing more.
8. Pictory — built for scripts, not properties
Good at: turning long-form content into short clips — a script, a blog post, a webinar recording into social cuts. The automatic captioning and scene matching are good.
Price: Starter $25 (about ₹2,400) a month on annual billing with 2,400 video minutes a year, Professional $35 (about ₹3,360), Team $119 (about ₹11,420); monthly billing is higher. USD only.
India fit: none, and the shape of the tool is wrong for listings anyway — it is built around text and footage rather than around a property with photographs and a price.
Choose it if your marketing is content-led and you are repurposing videos and articles rather than listing properties.
What actually decides this
Strip out the feature lists and two questions decide which tool suits you.
- How many listings a month? Below three or four, a free tier and an afternoon in Canva is a perfectly rational answer. Above that, per-listing manual work becomes the real cost and a tool that knows what a listing is starts paying for itself.
- Who is your buyer reading for? If your enquiries come in Hindi and your listings are quoted in gaj, a tool that formats in dollars and narrates in American English is fighting you on every asset.
And if your listing genuinely needs real walk-through motion rather than animated stills, none of these eight is the answer — that is a shoot, and we have written separately about what a videographer costs in India and how long it takes.

Frequently asked questions
Which real estate video maker is best for Indian brokers?
It depends on what you are optimising for. If you need Indian listing fields, rupee formatting and Indian-language voiceover, a tool built for this market will save you constant manual correction. If you want the widest template library and the most polished individual templates, Canva or InVideo are stronger. If you sell mainly to English-speaking overseas buyers, Reel-E is more mature in that market. Most brokers should try two and keep the one that needs least fixing.
Is there a free real estate video maker?
Yes, with limits. CapCut has a genuinely capable free tier, Canva has a free plan, and several listing-specific tools including ReyAI let you produce one reel before paying anything. Free tiers usually cost you in watermarks, export limits or manual work, so the honest question is not whether a tool is free but how many hours per listing it costs you.
Can these tools write a voiceover in Hindi or a regional language?
Some can and most cannot. General-purpose editors will read any text you supply, but you have to write and translate it yourself. ReyAI generates the script from your property details and offers 11 Indian languages, which matters if your buyers are not reading English marketing. Check whether a tool produces the script or merely narrates one you wrote.
Do I need a video maker if I already have a videographer?
Most brokers end up using both. A shoot is worth it on a flagship listing or a builder launch, where real walk-through motion and controlled light justify the cost and the wait. A photo-based tool covers the routine listings that cannot absorb a fortnight's turnaround. The two are complements, and the common mistake is spending the shoot budget on a listing that did not need it.
